I’m a proud farm kid who grew up in southern Saskatchewan. After graduating from the University of Regina, I moved to Grande Prairie to begin my career as a contaminated sites consultant. Over the next 20+ years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects across B.C., the Northwest Territories, and the Prairie Provinces, moving from Grande Prairie to Lloydminster and, finally, back to the Regina area.

During that time, I’ve worked with and learned from many great people, tackled challenging projects, and have consistently been left wanting more. I often say I’m lucky to have found the right career for me—I love this job.

Pathway has taken that love to another level. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a strong, dedicated team that’s focused on doing great work, learning and growing together, and making a positive impact—because we care about one another and our community.

Over the last 20+ years of my career in environmental consulting, I’ve learned a lot about contaminated sites, geochemistry, hydrogeology, and project management.

I’ve also learned that growth as a consultant never ends—which is why I’m so grateful to be surrounded by so many smart, kind, and talented people at Pathway.

I’m proud to be born and raised in the Edmonton area and have travelled all around western Canada for work and baseball, which I enjoyed for many years as a player and now as a coach …Ain’t a diamond north of Fargo I haven’t played.

I love family, friends, cats, food, and music. I hate that I never learned to play guitar, though I make the most of the four chords I do know.

I’ve had the privilege of working as a policy maker and remediation specialist for over 30 years.

The most rewarding part of my career has been collaborating with landowners, stakeholders, and clients to find solutions that meet everyone’s needs.

Pathway gives me the opportunity to pursue my passion for mentoring students in the environmental remediation field.

I’ve been working in the oil and gas industry for over a decade and have had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of interesting projects. My career began in spill response, which primed me to think on my feet and taught me the value of assembling the right team for the job.

These days, I’m drawn to the sites that have historical contamination and lack straightforward solutions — yet the same principles still apply. I’ve learned that the best approach is to first understand and clarify long-term objectives, then work with a skilled team to deliver quality solutions in support of those objectives. Working at Pathway is a natural fit for this approach, and I’m continually energized by the team’s collaborative spirit and commitment to ongoing learning.

Outside of work, my life is filled with family, friends, and an ever-evolving array of creative hobbies: experimental winemaking, crafting DIY soaps and salves, knitting, macramé, gardening — and perhaps one day, tapestry making (once I find space in the house for a loom).

I’ve been working in environmental consulting for six years. What I enjoy most about consulting is the collaboration and problem-solving I get to be part of with the team at Pathway.

As a hydrogeologist-in-training, my focus is on all things groundwater, though I take pride in having dabbled in nearly every service an environmental consultant might be called on to provide. Whether it’s Phase 2 drilling, surface and groundwater monitoring, remediation, or reclamation, I’m grateful to have gained experience across the board—which, to me, is the recipe for becoming a well-rounded consultant.

Outside of work, I can’t get enough of recreational sports: men’s league hockey, pickleball, bowling, or golf. My partner tells me I’ll need to drop one before I take up my next venture—disc golf.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned about my admin career, it’s that I’m at my best when there’s a little bit of everything on my plate. At Pathway, I have the privilege of wearing many hats, jumping between tasks, solving problems on the fly, and keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes. I love bringing order into what is sometimes ‘chaos’.

I’m passionate about the details—whether it’s building out a form, fine-tuning a report, or getting a process to run just a little smoother. You know that feeling when a lawn has those perfect, crisp mowing lines? That’s how I feel when my Excel formulas work, and all the bullet points behave exactly as they should. That’s my happy place.

At the end of the day, I believe in balance, a good laugh, and taking pride in producing quality work. What matters most to me is working alongside a team that truly cares: about their work, about doing things right, and about supporting each other along the way. That’s where the magic happens…

Although I grew up in Saskatchewan, I’ve been fortunate to live across all four Western Canadian provinces—from the Prairies in Manitoba to the ocean shores of Vancouver Island. For over 11 years, I’ve worked in the environmental sector, contributing to a variety of projects in site assessment, remediation, and reclamation. I love learning and trying new things, which is partly why I’ve worked everywhere from Manitoba to northwestern British Columbia. I really enjoy working in a team setting and learning from the people around me.

I’m passionate about competitive sports—whether it’s hockey, football, golf, baseball, lacrosse, or pickleball, I’m always up for a game. Outside of work, I can often be found at a live concert, a sporting event, out in nature, or volunteering at a local dog rescue.

Born and raised in a small farming community in west-central Alberta, my path in the environmental consulting world has taken me further and further eastward, which is uncommon in this industry. I began my consulting career over 16 years ago in Calgary, then spent five years in Regina before moving even further east to Virden, Manitoba. Today, I’ve settled in what feels like a little slice of heaven: Moosomin, Saskatchewan, where I live with my wife and our two beautiful children.

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to be a part of a wide range of fascinating remediation and reclamation projects. My work has taken me across this great nation—from the rugged foothills of Fort St. John to the stunning, bright blue lakes of Kenora, Ontario, and along the dusty trails across the prairies in between.

I've learned that the key to any project's success is the undeniable effort to build and be part of a strong team that is dedicated, knowledgeable, hardworking, and always looking out for one another. I'm proud to be part of a company that shares in that same culture and vision.
